No, immediate payment is not required upon registration. However, to secure your spot and take advantage of the early bird rate, it's recommended to complete payment before the early bird deadline on August 6, 2025.

3. How can I pay for my registration fee?

The payments for this workshop will be processed by AOK Int’l Travel Service Inc. After submitting this registration form, you will receive a credit card payment form via email. Please fill in the form and send it back to AOK Int'l Travel Service (stanley@aoktrips.com).

4. How long does it take to receive a reply after submitting the credit card authorization form?

While the exact response time isn't specified, you can expect a confirmation within a few business days from Mr. Stanley Lin (stanley@aoktrips.com). If you haven't received a reply after a week, it's advisable to contact the organizers aces2025@earth.sinica.edu.tw directly.

5. What should I do if I forget to make the payment after submitting the registration form?

If you forget to make the payment, please reach out to the conference organizers promptly to arrange payment and ensure your registration is processed. The rate will be based on the date the credit card payment form is submitted. If you submit the credit card payment form after Aug 6, the rate will be changed to regular registration fees. Mr. Stanley Lin will contact you to confirm the change of rates before he proceeds with the payment.

6. What should I do if I need to modify my registration details after submission?

Before you click the button "Pay Now", you can always return to the same page at any time to modify your registration details. If you have clicked “Pay Now” and still wish to change your details, please contact the conference organizers promptly for assistance.

7. What is the vegetarian menu for the banquet? Does it accommodate religious dietary restrictions?

The dinner banquet is a buffet-style BBQ. There are plenty of vegetables for vegetarians.

8. Can accompanying persons join the banquet or field trip?

The banquet will be served buffet-style at a Japanese BBQ restaurant, which includes a variety of vegetable dishes suitable for vegetarians. While general vegetarian options are available, the menu may not fully accommodate specific religious dietary requirements (e.g., Halal, Kosher, Jain). If you have particular dietary needs based on religious or cultural practices, please contact the organizers in advance so we can explore possible accommodations.

1. What is the refund policy for hotel changes or cancellations?

Hotel fees will be paid on-site at the hotel directly during check-in. Therefore, no cancellation fee will be charged in advance. However, if you need to change or cancel your booking, please inform the ACES2025 organizer as early as possible.

2. What transportation options are available between the hotel and Academia Sinica?

The attendants may take public transportation to reach Academia Sinica. No dedicated shuttle bus is arranged for the transportation.

3. Can I pay the accommodation in advance?

No, unfortunately, advance payment is not available through the ACES registration platform.

There are two options for accommodation payment:

1. Book through the ACES registration platform – Payment is made on-site at check-in. A small discount is offered.
2. Book independently – You may book directly with the hotel and pay in advance, but standard rates will apply.

Yes, multiple submissions are allowed for invited speakers. For general participants, only one abstract submission is accepted.

We only offer an early bird discount for the ACES 2025 Workshop.

The conference does not provide any pick-up or shuttle services. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or arrange their own transfers.
